Scotts Grub B Gon MAX Grub Killer is a granular biological insecticide registered with Health Canada under the Pest Control Products Act as PCP Reg. No. 33460 (registered name SCOTTS GRUB B GON MAX GRUB KILLER; registrant: Scotts Canada Ltd.). Its marketing class is DOMESTIC. The active ingredient is Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies galleriae strain SDS-502, guaranteed at 1 x 10^9 CFU/g. What the label covers: the product "is for control of listed beetle grubs and to prevent their damage to residential lawns." The grubs (larvae) it lists are those of the annual bluegrass weevil, Asiatic garden beetle, black turfgrass ataenius, European chafer, green June beetle, Japanese beetle, May or June beetles, northern masked chafer, oriental beetle and southern masked chafer.
