Miracle-Gro Liquid All Purpose Plant Food is a liquid plant food concentrate from Scotts Canada, sold there as Liquid All Purpose Plant Food Concentrate (item 3035306). Scotts gives the NPK ratio as 12-4-8 and states that "950mL (32 oz) of this product feeds 60 m2 (645 ft2) of coverage area." It is a concentrate: the Scotts directions call for mixing it with water before it is applied. Package size: 950 mL. What it is for, as Scotts describes it: it "Can be used in the garden as well as on indoor houseplants," and the formula "works on a large variety of flowers, vegetables, trees and houseplants." How much and how to use, from the manufacturer's directions: "Shake the bottle well before each use." For gardens, "Fill cap to 1st line (30 mL or 2 tbsp) and mix in 8 L (2 gallons) of water to feed 1.9 m2 (20 ft2) of garden. Apply by thoroughly soaking the soil around each plant." For houseplants, "Mix 5 mL (1 tsp) in 4 L (1 gallon) of water and apply every 2 weeks to the soil." When to use: the front of the bottle reads "Feed Every 7-14 Days", and the Scotts houseplant rate is applied every 2 weeks. Storage and precautions are printed on the package; read them before use.
