Drench nozzles lead a hard life. They get bitten, bent against teeth, and dropped on concrete, and a nozzle even slightly out of true is difficult to place and unpleasant for the animal. This is the straight cattle pattern at 190 mm (7.5 in), the length that reaches past the back of the tongue on a mature animal without needing to be forced. It belongs to the Prodigy 30 mL series, and is the same nozzle fitted as standard to the 30 mL drencher build. It is not interchangeable with the shorter sheep drench nozzle or with the hooked cattle nozzle, which are different lengths and shapes for different jobs. If you are working smaller stock, the sheep nozzle is the one you want instead. Confirm you are running a 30 mL Prodigy body before ordering, because other makes of 30 mL gun use their own fittings. This is a consumable, not a rebuild part. Expect to replace nozzles well before you replace the gun, and it is worth having a spare in the kit before a big run rather than losing a morning to a bent one.
