Details
Masterfeeds Senior is a complete feed made for older horses and ponies that are dropping condition or no longer chew hay well. It is also a good fit for easy keepers and any horse that needs a low starch, low sugar ration. The label shows 14% crude protein and 6% fat from vegetable sources, with beet pulp for digestible fibre, vitamin C, B vitamins, 100% proteinated trace minerals, and Yea-Sacc and Pulse pre/probiotics. Feed 0.5 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg of body weight per day with good quality hay. The pellets can be soaked into a mash for horses with poor teeth, and the ration can be increased as hay intake drops. Full directions are on the feed tag.
