Details
Beet pulp is the fibre left after sugar is extracted from sugar beets. It's a popular, highly digestible fibre source for horses, especially hard keepers, seniors and horses that need extra calories without a lot of starch, and it's also fed to cattle, sheep and goats. Pellets are usually soaked in water before feeding horses, which softens them, adds water to the diet and reduces the choke risk. Introduce slowly. Sold through Masterfeeds. Check the bag tag for the guaranteed analysis.
