Details
Equine Developer is Masterfeeds' feed for the growing years and for broodmares. It balances protein, amino acids (lysine 0.7%) and energy with controlled starch, which Masterfeeds says helps reduce the developmental problems that come with fast, uneven growth. The label shows 14% crude protein and 6% fat, with added vegetable oil, 100% proteinated trace minerals and Sel-Plex organic selenium. Feeding guide: pregnant mares 0.5 to 1 kg per 100 kg of body weight; nursing mares and yearlings 0.5 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg; two-year-olds 0.5 to 1 kg per 100 kg, always with good quality forage. Full directions are on the feed tag.
