Details
Podium Cool Energy is Masterfeeds' performance ration for horses in regular work: eventers, ranch and rodeo horses, and any horse that needs more energy without the fizz that comes from a high-starch grain ration. Energy comes mostly from fat and fibre rather than starch and sugar, and the pellet includes added flax for omega-3. Masterfeeds' published label shows 12% crude protein and 8% crude fat, with 100% proteinated trace minerals, vitamin E at 400 IU/kg, added B vitamins, and Yea-Sacc and Pulse pre/probiotics for gut health. According to Masterfeeds, the low starch and sugar level helps reduce the risk of ulcers and tying up. Feed 0.5 to 1.5 kg per 100 kg of body weight per day alongside good quality hay, adjusted to workload and condition. Full feeding directions and guaranteed analysis are on the feed tag.
