Small doses are where a repeater syringe earns its place, because the difference between 0.5 mL and 0.75 mL is easy to guess wrong by eye and hard to see in a barrel. This one is set by dial to fixed positions rather than eyeballed, with ten of them running from 0.25 mL to 2.5 mL in 0.25 mL increments. The barrel is Triton, which is BPA-free and both chemical and scratch resistant. Scratch resistance is not a small thing in a barrel you read a dose off, because a barrel gone cloudy from grit and repeated cleaning is one you stop trusting. Graduations are large enough to read across a chute, and the dose adjuster is an easy-grip dial rather than something needing a fingernail. Interchangeable coloured pull knob inserts let you mark the gun so two in use at once are not mixed up. Parts for this gun are size-specific and that matters when ordering. The 25 mL replacement barrel with O-ring is for the 25 mL syringe only and will not fit the 50 mL. Needle nuts, O-rings and pull knobs are available separately as well. Flush the barrel with warm water after use rather than letting product dry in it. Which product and what dose are matters for your veterinarian and the label.
