The three-quart version of the Little Giant bottle holder, built the same way as its smaller cousin: sturdy coated metal with rounded corners, hanging over any two-by board. It holds a 3-quart nursing bottle upright and steady so a calf can drink without anyone standing there holding it. The bottle is bought separately. Three quarts is the size most people move up to once a calf is past the first week or two and drinking properly. A bigger bottle is also a heavier bottle, and that is exactly the point where a holder stops being a convenience and becomes the only sensible way to do the job. Hang it at the right height for the calf, load the bottle, and let the calf get on with it. The coating on the wire is what keeps it usable through more than one spring.
