Guarantee: pyrethrins 0.05%, piperonyl butoxide 0.50% and permethrin 0.10%. This listing is the 946 mL trigger-spray bottle. The registered label covers 946 mL and 3.78 L. What the label covers on the horse: stable flies, horse flies, face flies, deer flies, house flies, horn flies, mosquitoes, biting midges, fleas, chiggers, ticks and lice. The label says "FOR USE ON HORSES ONLY", "DO NOT use on newborn or nursing foals." and "DO NOT use on horses intended for slaughter." It also says "Before use on pregnant animals, consult a veterinarian." The same label has separate directions for spot and crack-and-crevice use at horse barns and stables; read those before you spray a building. How the label says to apply it to a horse: "Prior to treatment, thoroughly brush horse to remove excess dirt and dust and remove mucous secretions from face of the horse." For the spray method, "Apply a light, uniform spray to thoroughly coat the hair of the horse, while brushing lightly against lay of the hair." "DO NOT apply as a spray to the face of horse." The face is done with the label's wipe-on method on a moistened cloth, sponge or mitt. The limits are "DO NOT exceed 40 mL per animal per treatment." and "DO NOT apply more than once per day." The label also says "DO NOT apply to back of horse prior to saddling." Precautions: "KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN" "Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin." "Avoid breathing spray mist." "DO NOT apply using stationary or handheld fogging or misting equipment." Storage: "Store in a cool, dry place."
