The gap between a short glove cuff and a rolled sleeve is where everything ends up: obstetric fluid, disinfectant, whatever you were mixing. A 267 mm (10.5 in) cuff closes that gap by reaching well up the forearm, and that is the whole point of this glove over a standard-length one. They are accelerator free, which is worth understanding. The chemical accelerators used to cure most nitrile are the usual cause of Type IV contact allergy, and leaving them out is what makes a glove low-dermatitis rather than merely soft. The material exceeds ASTM D6319 for nitrile examination gloves, and has been tested to ASTM D6978 for chemotherapy drug resistance and ASTM F1671 for viral penetration, which together say more about barrier integrity than any marketing line does. Fingertips are textured for grip on wet and dry surfaces, and the black finish reduces glare. They come 100 to a box, powder free. These are single-use exam gloves, not reusable gauntlets. The long cuff makes them the ones to reach for on calving, post-mortem and disinfectant work, and the trade is that you go through them faster than a short cuff on routine handling, so it is worth keeping both lengths on the shelf. Change them the moment one is compromised.
