Details
This knotted bone is not hide. It is formed from sweet potato flour and pea flour, meat-free and entirely rawhide-free, in an 18cm knotted bone. That is the large size and it is genuinely large. This is a chew for a big dog, and it carries real calories, so treat it as an occasional thing rather than a daily habit and count it against what the dog is fed rather than adding it on top. The knotted ends are the part a dog works on first. They give something to grip and gnaw at without the whole chew going soft at once, which is what makes the shape last as long as it does. Fifteen to a box, which is a bulk retail quantity. Store them sealed and dry once the box is opened, because a starch-based chew left in a humid porch through a wet spring will soften. Watch the dog while it chews and take the last piece away.
