Details
A catheter tip is a long tapered nose instead of a luer fitting. It is made to push into tubing, so this syringe is the one you want for anything that is not an injection: dosing electrolytes and oral drenches, flushing a wound, filling a stomach tube, pushing colostrum, rinsing out a sheath or an abscess pocket. Sixty millilitres is the practical volume for that work. Big enough that you are not refilling constantly when you are getting fluid into a scouring calf, small enough to control with one hand while the other holds the animal. Twenty to the box is the reason to buy it this way. These get used hard, they end up full of things you do not want to wash out, and having a stack means the one you reach for is clean. Keeping oral and flushing syringes entirely separate from your injection equipment is good practice, not fussiness. A catheter tip will not accept a needle, and that is by design. Do not improvise an injection with one. Rinse them out immediately after use, because dried colostrum and electrolyte are close to impossible to remove later. Hot water only if the syringe will ever touch vaccine. What you give orally, how much and how fast are label and veterinary decisions, particularly with a sick calf.
