This is the same rubber tubing as the four metre length, in the roll size that makes sense once you have accepted that you use the stuff constantly. Tourniquets for raising a vein, gravity lines, siphons, stretchy ties, sleeving to pad a chain or protect a hose from chafing: it gets cut into for a different job every month. Fifteen metres brings the price per metre down substantially against the short roll, which is the entire argument for it. If you only have one job in front of you, buy the four metre. If you have a barn, a shop and a treatment kit that all keep needing a piece, buy this once and stop reordering. Rubber is the reason it works. It stretches and grips itself, and it stays flexible in the cold where vinyl tubing goes stiff and kinks. The cost of that is that rubber perishes. Sun, oil, fuel and ozone all age it, and old tubing turns tacky and then splits. Because a roll this size lasts years, storage actually matters. Keep it coiled loosely in the dark, away from fuel, oil and the welder, and do not leave it hanging in a window. Cut what you need and put the rest back. Retire any length that feels sticky, looks crazed or has lost its snap, especially if it is doing tourniquet duty where a break costs you the vein.
