The large version, sized for mature cattle. Length is the whole reason there are two sizes. A gun that is too short means reaching further into a cow's mouth with your hand than anybody wants to, and one that is too long is unmanageable in a calf. Plastic at seven forty. It is closer to a consumable than a tool, and the sensible approach is replacing it when the plunger goes loose rather than nursing one along for years. Inspect the head every time. Plastic cracks, cracked plastic gets sharp, and a sharp edge at the back of a cow's throat does genuine damage. When one is cracked, it is done. The colour coding is more useful than it sounds. Red for large and blue for small means the right gun comes out of the bucket first time, which counts for something when you are working alone in poor light.
