A threaded feeding nozzle for getting colostrum or fluids into a calf that will not suck. It threads on rather than pushing on, which is the entire point. A nozzle that separates partway through a tubing is a mess at best, and the calf you are tubing is already the most compromised animal on the place. Nine fifty is nothing against what a failure costs, and these do wear. Threads round off, tips get chewed, and eventually one goes soft. Keep a spare in the calving kit rather than one in service. Wash it out and let it dry after every single use. Colostrum residue sitting in a warm nozzle is a bacterial culture, and you are delivering it straight into the gut of a calf with no immune system of its own yet. Technique matters more than equipment here. If nobody has shown you how to pass a tube properly, get shown before calving season rather than during it. The failure mode is fluid in the lungs and it kills calves.
