Same halter as the rest of the run: adjustable crown, flat nylon web nose, hardware rated for stock that leans into it, and a fit that works on a cow or a horse. The reason to order blue specifically is usually organisation. Colour is the cheapest labelling system in a barn. Blue on the bulls, blue on the pen that gets treated, blue for the horse nobody else is supposed to catch. Whatever the rule is, everyone learns it in a day and nobody has to read a tag in bad light. If you are buying more than one halter anyway, buying them in different colours costs the same as buying four black ones and saves you sorting. Blue shows up well against green pasture and against dirt, though not against blue panels or a blue tarp, which is worth a thought if that is what your corral is made of. It will fade in strong sun over a couple of seasons. That is nylon in general, not this halter in particular. Nylon web will not rot and will not break, so treat it accordingly: fine in your hand, not something to leave on an animal turned out in a pen full of things to hook. Watch the stitching at the throat and the nose ring, wash it in a bucket, and dry it in the shade.
