The SMART Bander is the long-running Callicrate design, in use since the early nineties, and it comes as a kit with the Callicrate cutter and a set of replacement loops. The tool ratchets a loop to tension and locks it with a no-slip clip, so the tension stays where you set it instead of backing off on you. It is listed for cattle, sheep and goats, and Callicrate also names dehorning and prolapse work among its uses.
