QuietWean is the two-stage weaning nose tag. Pipestone Farm Supply lists QuietWean nose tags in bags of 25: the plastic flap clips into the calf's nostrils, lets it stay beside the cow but stops it nursing, and is removed a few days later when the pair is separated. Bags of 25 suit small herds or topping up before fall weaning. Listed in Millet, Alberta, between Leduc and Wetaskiwin, with free in-store pickup and Canada-wide shipping; see our cattle handling and identification categories for tags, applicators and sorting tools to go with them.
