The companion to the Hip & Joint treat in the same Healthy Max range, and near enough the same size and format — small pieces at roughly seven calories each, handed out a few at a time. What changes is the back half of the ingredient list. Chicken is the named protein, over whole ground corn, wheat flour, glycerin, oat flour and flax seed, with chicken fat preserved using tocopherols and citric acid. Salmon oil is included and the minerals are proteinate forms, with zinc proteinate appearing in the panel. There is a natural smoke flavour and rosemary extract in there as well. Treats are an addition to a dog's diet rather than a substitute for part of it. The bag gives its own guidance, and anything you are trying to sort out about your particular dog is worth putting to your veterinarian instead of solving at the treat shelf. The pouch is 142 g (5 oz). Clip it shut between uses. These are soft treats and they will firm up if the bag sits open on a counter for a week.
