Cats are harder to keep interested than dogs, and a blended-flavour food is the usual answer in a house where one cat wants fish and another will only look at poultry. Cat Combo puts both in the same bag. Chicken by-product meal is the first ingredient, with fish meal and tuna meal further along, over whole grain ground corn, whole grain ground wheat, corn gluten meal and soybean meal. Taurine is added, as it must be in any complete cat food. Tuffy's formulates it for cats and kittens both, so a growing kitten and an adult can be fed from the same bag. The 18.1 kg (40 lb) size is aimed at people feeding several cats — a farm, a rescue, or a house that has acquired more cats than it planned on. Amounts are on the bag, and with a group it is worth knowing roughly who is eating what. Take any change in appetite or weight to your veterinarian. That much food stays open for a while, so get it into a sealed bin. Cat kibble is small enough to spill easily and to find its way into corners, and a bin with a lid you can work one-handed saves a lot of sweeping.
