Kibble size is not a small thing when you are feeding a big dog. Small pieces get bolted; a larger chunk slows a dog down at the bowl and is easier for a big mouth to pick up cleanly. Golden Chunks is the chunk-format food in the Tuffy's professional range, made for adult dogs. Whole grain ground corn is the first ingredient, with soybean meal, poultry by-product meal and wheat middlings behind it, and chicken meal and fish meal further down. Poultry fat, brewer's yeast, yeast culture and flax seed meal also appear in the panel. This is an adult formula rather than an all-life-stages one, so it is not the bag to be feeding a litter from. The sack holds 18.1 kg (40 lb). Read the feeding guide printed on it rather than reusing the scoop from a different food — chunk kibble does not pack the way small kibble does, and a cup of one is not a cup of the other by weight. Any question about what a particular dog needs belongs with your veterinarian. Store it sealed, off the floor and out of the sun. Chunk kibble leaves less dust in the bottom of the bin than fine kibble does, which is a minor but real advantage by the time you reach the last of it.
