Not a sled dog, not strictly a house dog, just a farm or town dog getting a walk and a job or two. Chicken by-product meal is the first ingredient, over whole grain ground corn and whole grain ground wheat, with brewers rice, beet pulp, dried egg product, flax seed and fish meal further along. The minerals are chelated forms — iron, zinc, copper, manganese and cobalt proteinates — and the fat is preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid rather than BHA. Feeding amounts are on the back of the bag and shift with weight and season; most dogs take more through an Alberta winter than through July. Work from that guide and from how the dog actually looks, and ask your veterinarian if body condition is drifting either way. The bag holds 18.1 kg (40 lb). Keep it sealed and out of direct sun.
