Double Mist Trigger Sprayer

This is a better grade of trigger sprayer than the one that comes free on a bottle from town. The head puts out two bursts per pull, which means fewer squeezes to cover a horse or a pen wall, and the nozzle adjusts from a fine mist through to a stream. The spray head is built to stand up to disinfectants and to the acids in some barn products, with an inline filter to keep grit off the seat. Around a farm it earns its keep on fly spray, wound washes, teat dip, disinfectant on panels and gates, and general cleanup. Use one bottle for one product and write on it with a marker, and you avoid the classic mistake of misting a horse with something meant for a hog barn floor. Rinse it with clean water after every use, especially with anything that dries hard, and pump that clean water through the head before you set it down. Sprayers that get put away full and then freeze in an unheated shop do not come back. Keep it inside over winter and it will last for years.
